Terms of Use

1. The service

Hirlya is the candidate assessment tool of the Maltem group, including Valkima ("Maltem", "we"). Candidates invited by one of our recruiters use it to take a technical quiz, complete a code review exercise and book an interview, depending on the steps chosen for the position. These terms apply when you use your assessment link.

Access is by invitation only. There is no account to create and the assessment is free.

2. Your personal link

• Your link is personal: do not share it. Anyone holding it can access your assessment.
• It works for the period stated in your invitation. If it has expired or you need more time, contact your recruiter.
• If you think someone else has used your link, tell your recruiter.

3. Taking the assessment

• Complete the assessment yourself, without help from another person.
• Each step can be taken once. Timed steps must be submitted within the time limit; answers received late are recorded as such.
• Copy and paste is disabled during the tests.
• Questions and exercises are confidential: do not copy, publish or share them.

If we have serious reasons to believe that an assessment was not taken under these conditions, the recruiter may disregard it or ask you to take another assessment.

4. Results and decisions

Your answers are reviewed by our recruiters, with the help of automated scoring and AI analysis described in our Privacy Policy. Decisions are always taken by a recruiter. Scores are not shown to candidates, and completing the assessment does not guarantee a job offer or an interview.

5. Interviews

When your application moves forward, you may be offered interview slots. Please cancel from your link if you cannot attend, so that the slot can be offered to someone else.

6. Availability

We do our best to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted, for example for maintenance. If a technical problem prevents you from completing a step, contact your recruiter.

7. Personal data

How we process your data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one published when you use your link.

9. Credits

The video on the home page uses original music and sound effects. Its narration, in French and English, is generated with Google Gemini text-to-speech.
